Annual Technical Advisory Committee Meeting Held in Windhoek, Namibia
HOUSTON, November 24, 2013
–Hydrocarb’s annual Technical Advisory Committee Meeting was held in Windhoek, Namibia on October 31, 2013. The session was extremely successful, with 8 members of the Hydrocarb management and technical team presenting results to date of all field work, independent soil sample analysis, and preliminary results from the recently flown aerial high-resolution gravity and magnetics survey. The work program and budgets for 2013/2014 were updated and positively received by attending members of the Ministry of Mines and Energy and related government ministries.
It was agreed by the Committee that a regional 750 km 2D seismic program will be laid out in conjunction with the new gravity and magnetic survey and will be acquired in the upcoming 2014-2015 Owambo Basin work season.
